Immediate improvement
5I used this alongside the scalp exfoliant the first time I used it, then carried on using the shampoo alone twice a week. I immediately noticed and improvement, especially with larger flakes and with particular dry patches on my scalp. It's an investment but definitely worth it.

Please never discontinue
5I hope they never discontinue the shampoo or the conditioner. Ever since being diagnosed with an underactive thyroid, even though I take medication, my scalp has been so flaky and my hair has been like wire. I’ve tried multiple different things, including shampoos from a dermatologist. Nothing has worked. Until this. The reviews saying it doesn’t clean, it does, but you need to shampoo twice and really lather it up in your hands first. But it doesn’t leave you with the clean feeling that you get from shampoos that lather up really well, no… not on its own anyway. But I have been using Capasal Shampoo for the first wash and then the Ameloriate for the second wash, so if you can, use a charcoal shampoo, like T-Gel or something before because that helps with getting the Ameloriate shampoo to foam up and then you get that really clean feeling. Your first wash is just getting the surface clean, the second one is getting your scalp clean. It’s worth it. The difference in my scalp and how many days I can go without washing it is compared to before I started using it is amazing and the conditioner has stopped my hair feeling like wire, it actually feels and looks healthy.

Does not clean your hair
1I had high hopes for this as I love products from Ameliorate but honestly this product does not clean your hair at all. My hair remains greasy after washing. It smells amazing but it’s not fit for purpose.

Life changing
5My scalp has started to be very sensitive about 2/3 years ago, together with my eczema became worse. Since then I've tried many shampoos and treatments, but everytime, my scalp started itching just one day after washing my hair. It was really bad not only for my scalp but also for my self-confidence. I felt ashamed to scratch my head so much. I bumped into Ameliorate about a year ago by accindent. I must say it literally changed my life. Right after 1st using I felt relief and no itching occured even after 4/5 days without washing my hair. I also recommended it to my mom, who's has similar issues. Thank you for make my life better! ❤️

Still can't quite believe it!
5I have been battling SO badly with an extremely dry scalp to the point that it had become such a complex, from how itchy my scalp was, to how it felt almost like lumps of scabs (obviously it wasn't, but rather hard, thick sections of dry scalp) and so flakey... I tried three other products, with no result, one actually made it worse. This was my last attempt at a product before going to try see the doctor. I bought the scalp mask and the clarifying shampoo, from the first use there was a huge difference, I have only used the mask twice and the shampoo three times and WOW, NO flakes, nearly NO itching, NO dry scalp visible anywhere and no hard lumps!

The BEST!
5Honestly the best review if you have a dry, itchy and flaky scalp! I really suffer with psoriasis and have been going through a flare up, and used this shampoo twice a week for 4 weeks and everything has completely gone! My hair feels soft and no more dryness or flakes. LOVE it!

Best shampoo ever!
5I used my Ameliorate shampoo and conditioner yesterday. OMG I kid you not, my hair is so much better. I have an under active thyroid and my hair is like wire, so dry. It took me to find this company and I’ll never use anything else ever for my hair ❤️

Really works for me
5I am grateful for this shampoo. I met Ameliorate while looking for products for KP, and have been very happy with the body scrub and cream. I've also had seborrheic dermatitis for many many years and I was used to some shampoos working for a little while and then stopping working. I decided to give the Clarifying Shampoo a try and I've been pleasantly surprised for many bottles now. I thought they specialised in KP and didn't expect a shampoo that would change things for me.
